GREGORY MATTINGLY
Dr. Mattingly is a physician and principal investigator in clinical trials for Midwest Research Group. He is also a founding partner of St. Charles Psychiatric Associates where he treats children, adolescents and adults. A St Louis native, he earned his medical degree and received a Fulbright scholarship while attending Washington University. Dr. Mattingly is board certified in adult and adolescent psychiatry and is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at Washington University where he teaches psychopharmacology courses for the 3rd year medical students. Dr. Mattingly has been a principal investigator in over 200 clinical trials focusing on ADHD, anxiety disorders, major depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Having served on numerous national and international advisory panels, Dr. Mattingly has received awards and distinctions for clinical leadership and neuroscience research. Dr. Mattingly currently serves on the board of directors for APSARD-The American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders and is a certified evaluator for the NFL regarding ADHD and head concussions. He also serves on the board of Headway House, a community support program for individuals with chronic mental illness.
GUILHERME POLANCZYK
Psiquiatra de crianças e adolescentes, Professor Associado do Departamento de Psiquiatria da Faculdade de Medicina da USP. Coordena o Núcleo de Pesquisa em Neurodesenvolvimento e Saúde Mental da USP, o Programa de Diagnóstico e Intervenções Precoces e a Unidade de Internação do Serviço de Psiquiatria da Infância e Adolescência do Instituto de Psiquiatria do Hospital das Clinicas da USP. Formou-se em Medicina pela UFRGS, realizou residências em Psiquiatra e em Psiquiatra da Infância e Adolescência no HCPA-UFRGS. É Mestre e Doutor em Psiquiatria pela UFRGS, Pós-Doutor pelo Instituto de Psiquiatria de Londres (Inglaterra) e pela Duke University (EUA) e Livre-Docente em Psiquiatria da Infância e Adolescência pela USP.
JOSEPH SERGEANT
Professor Joseph Sergeant began his research on the attentional problems of hyperactive children in 1975 in Groningen, The Netherlands and from 1985 he was Professor and Chair of Clinical Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. In 1999, he moved to the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam to set-up the department of Clinical Neuropsychology in which he was Professor and chair. In this period, Professor Sergeant set-up with colleagues one of the largest Adult ADHD neuropsychological projects, which included evaluation with neuropsychological measures the effect of treatment to adult ADHD patients. He is currently emeritus Professor of Clinical Neuropsychology. In 1987 he founded the European Network on Hyperkinetic Disorders (Eunethydis), which has developed as a key training network for child psychiatrists, neurologists and psychologists. Professor Sergeant handed over the chairmanship of Eunethydis to Professor Tobias Banaschewski January 1st 2015. Under Professor Sergeant’s chairmanship, Eunethydis was expanded to take into account the emerging issue of adult ADHD. The Eunethydis workgroup: European ADHD Guidelines Group (EAGG) of which Professor Sergeant was initiator and chair has produced three sets of Guidelines for the treatment of ADHD and a number of meta-analysis concerning Non-pharmacological and Pharmacological interventions in ADHD. An important task for the EAGG in recent years has been to indicate interventions suitable for adult ADHD. Professor Emily Simonoff succeed him as Coordinator of the EAGG January1st 2015. Professor Sergeant has published over 250 articles in scientific journals. Professor Sergeant was in 2010 knighted by the Queen of The Netherlands: He is Officer and Knight in the Order of Oranje Nassau for his contribution to the research and treatment of ADHD individuals.

Professor Titular de Psiquiatria – UFRGS; Professor da Pós-Graduação em Psiquiatria – USP. Coordenador-Geral do Programa de TDAH do HCPA. Participou do grupo de trabalho sobre Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção/Hiperatividade e Transtornos Disruptivos do Comportamento da DSM-5, Associação Americana de Psiquiatria. Presidente da World Federation of ADHD. Vice-Presidente da International Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Disciplines (IACAPAP). Vice-coordenador do Instituto Nacional de Psiquiatria do Desenvolvimento para a Infância e Adolescência. Pesquisador nível 1A CNPq. Co-editor da European Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, editor emérito da Revista Brasileira de Psiquiatria, editor Associado da Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorders e editor internacional do Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
MARGARET SIBLEY
Dr. Margaret Sibley, Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine and a practicing clinical psychologist at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Sibley’s research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD in adolescents and young adults. She developed an evidence-based treatment for ADHD in adolescence using cognitive-behavioral and motivational interviewing techniques (STAND; 2016, Guilford Press). Dr. Sibley has published over 90 scientific papers on ADHD and has received research funding from the National Institute of Mental Health, the U.S. Institute of Education Sciences, the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation, and the American Psychological Foundation. Her research has been recognized by Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the American Psychological Association. She is a member of the Professional Advisory Board for CHADD, serves on the Editorial advisory board for Attention Magazine, is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Child and Family Studies, and serves on the editorial boards for leading scientific journals that include the Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology, Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology.

SAMUELE CORTESE
Samuele Cortese, MD, PhD is currently Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Southampton and Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for Solent NHS Trust. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor with the New York University (NYU). Prof. Cortese’s main research interest are around neurodevelopmental disorders, with a focus on ADHD. He has published more than 200 peer-review papers, including first author papers in prestigious journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet Psychiatry and the American Journal of Psychiatry. He is Deputy Editor for the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and sits on the editorial board of other 5 international journals. He is a member of the European ADHD Guidelines Group, as well as of the child and adolescent psychiatry faculty of the European Collegium of Neuropsychopharmacology and of the British Association of Psychopharmacology-child and adolescent psychiatry module. In 2020, Prof. Cortese was included in the list of the world‘s most influential researchers of the past decade, demonstrated by the production of multiple highly-cited papers that rank in the top 1% by citations in the field of psychiatry/psychology in 2019 in Web of Science. In 2020 he also ranked #2 worldwide in terms of expertise on Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) according to Expertscape.
